Connect Lemon Squeezy with an API key and a signed webhook.

RevGlance reads your Lemon Squeezy store's products, customers, orders, subscriptions and subscription invoices with an API key.

Connect

  1. In Lemon Squeezy, open Settings › API and create a new API key. Call it RevGlance.
  2. Copy the key straight away: Lemon Squeezy shows it once.
  3. Paste it under API key and choose Connect Lemon Squeezy. RevGlance reads products, customers, orders, subscriptions and their invoices.

Add the webhook

  1. In RevGlance, open Settings › Sources, open the Lemon Squeezy source's menu and choose Webhook. Copy the URL.
  2. In Lemon Squeezy, open Settings › Webhooks and add a webhook with that URL. Make up a long random signing secret and select the order, subscription and subscription payment events.
  3. Paste the same secret under Signing secret in RevGlance and save.

What RevGlance syncs

  • Variants, to tell subscriptions from one-time products and read each plan's interval.
  • Subscriptions, read in full each time, for MRR, plans, trials and cancellations.
  • Customers, orders and subscription invoices. Lemon Squeezy lists these newest first without a date filter, so later syncs read back until 60 days before the last sync, and once a week read everything again, to catch refunds of older orders.

How Lemon Squeezy is counted

  • Charges are the order or invoice total less tax.
  • Lemon Squeezy reports refunds including tax, so RevGlance takes the tax off in proportion. Expect a cent of rounding now and then.
  • Full refunds are dated when Lemon Squeezy made them. Partial refunds have no date, so they show on the invoice date.
  • A cancelled subscription keeps counting until its paid period ends. An unpaid one (four failed retries) counts as churn, and comes back if the payment recovers.
  • Lemon Squeezy sends no cancel date or reason: the cancel date is when the subscription last changed.
  • Lemon Squeezy reports no fees, so fees show as zero.
  • A discount comes off MRR once a renewal shows it. Lemon Squeezy does not say whether a discount repeats, so one on the first invoice alone does not count.
  • A refund of an older order is caught by a full read once a week, so it can show up to a week late.
  • A trial that converted before you connected is not shown, since Lemon Squeezy only names a trial while it runs.
  • Chargebacks are not read, so a lost one stays counted as a charge unless the provider also reports it as a refund.
